Windsurfing tuition
Our basic training gives you:
- the elementary skills of windsurfing
- an overview of the gear
- knowledge of the safety rules
For taking part in the course please contact us to sign up and find out when the naxt training takes place. The course costs 950EEK/60EUR per person; there are discounts for groups. Please contact us for further information.
The course lasts for 4 hours; up to 1.5h for the theoretical part and 2.5h for the sea training.
The tuition includes:
- the theoretical knowledge of windsurfing, safety, the most important marine rules and the regulations concerning Pirita beach
- acquisition of practical windsurfing skills
- knowledge of using the modern windsurfing gear
- a wetsuit and a lifevest
- sauna and shower
- a briefing after the course - you can even ask for help from the advanced windsurfers :)
- the right to rent gear from Battery Pirita Surfclub afterwards and go windsurfing individually
About the gear (this will also be told you during the course):
- you can use the club's gear
- you have to take the gear back to the shore and place the board onto the cart
- you have to bring the sail onto the grass, clean it of the sand and seaweed and tell the administrator that you have brought it back
- you have to turn the wetsuit inside out, flush it, place it on the hanger and place outside to dry
